Welcome to GHS, GOLDEN HOME STAYS a family-run haven for Golden Retrievers nestled in the beautiful Central Coast. Our 18 acres of fields, forest, and paddocks offer endless space for your Goldens to explore, play, and simply be their joyful selves.
At GHS, every Golden is treated like family. All pups sleep inside our cozy cottage—wherever they feel most comfortable—and enjoy wholesome meals, including organic mince and delicious natural treats throughout their stay.
Our journey began with a deep love for Golden Retrievers and the desire to create a place where this beautiful breed can relax, have fun, and feel at home. We’ve even designed and built a stunning beach-entry pool, perfect for water-loving Goldens who can’t resist a splash or a zoomie session.
GHS is more than a business—it's a passion project built from the heart, dedicated to giving your Golden the space, care, and happiness they deserve. They're not just a dog they are family. Your True "Home Away From Home"

Our Rates are $120 Per Calendar Day (Including GST)

Please note payment MUST be paid in full before drop off.
Cancellation fees apply you will be charged the 50% booking fee for cancellations made 48 hours prior to booking and 1 week prior during peak times . Any Cancelations made 24hrs or less prior to the booking full fees apply.
Our rates are per calendar day this means you are charged for each day your Golden is here.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Goldens sleep inside the cottage, We have lounges trampoline beds, orthopedic beds for everyone or a nice cool spot of their choice, We do not have any cages or kennels. this is a home stay environment.
We provide everything, all food treats toys bowls bedding etc all we ask, they will need a Collar with their ID tag on. This can be removed later if they don't where one at home
We provide a variety of premium kibble (Royal Canin) Puppy and Adult , Prime 100 single protein rolls along with fruit and a variety of treats including some delicious homemade ones :)
We are limited now with this service so it is not often available however we can discuss it at the time of booking. The rate starts at $200 depending on location.
It certainly is, we have various paddocks all fully fenced and gated for the Goldens to access on our watch.
Once your Golden is well Socialized with no previous signs of aggression towards other dogs or people they are perfect. We like to book a trial day before hand so your Golden can become more comfortable here before their longer stay
Only under 12 months of age and not any female due a heat.
We prefer drop offs to be done in the morning however we understand schedules change. No drop offs are allowed after 4pm, The Goldens need time to settle in so arriving to late will unsettle the other guests also. Any Golden picked up at an earlier date then agreed is nonrefundable.
We need to make drop offs quick we do not allow owners to come in for this,
No Children are allowed inside the property at any time.
